Kulla Kajak

A couple of years ago, when Cliff Dropp was looking for a sea kayak for his own use, he got an idea: Why not buy ten pieces at once? Then there were one for everyone in the family and it was also possible to rent them out. Since then, the business has grown. If you want a fantastic nature experience on the sea this summer, Kulla Kajak is the place to look for.

There are basically unsinkable beginner kayaks and there are kayaks for the pros. You rent them at the port of Mölle. The most adventurous, paddle past Ransvik, rounds the lighthouse at the top of Kullaberg and reaches Arild. It takes a whole day. But you choose yourself. The rigid old football player with inflexible hips may enjoy a trip to the rocks at Ransvik. It only takes half an hour.

There is a great chance that you rent your kayak from an Englishman named Matt Strickland. He is an educated biologist and has worked with kayaks and nature experiences and mountain bikes in many parts of the world. Cliff Dropp is actually an environmental engineer. These are two guys who are extremely suitable to guide you to the magnificent scenery on and around the mountain. And they care about nature, sustainability and safety.

"It should be fun and safe. Satisfied customers come back, and they tell about the adventure to their friends. It happens that someone is a little bit afraid. Where the oceans meet, outside the top of Kullaberg, you can get reflective waves from the mountain. Then it is important that you are well prepared and we make sure that everyone is.

Kulla Kajak is the second on Trip advisor’s list of the best experiences in Höganäs municipality. Talk to Cliff and Matt if you want more than kayaking. They rent mountain bikes and paddle boards as well. And they can customize your nature experience on Kullaberg with the help of different partners.
